Online registration for the conference
It is now possible to register and pay the conference fee for the Changing Men and Masculinities in Gender Equal Societies conference via the web. All conference participants must register and pay via the web, also participants who have sent us an e-mail with a registration earlier. Invoices will not be sent to the participants, as earlier announced.
Conference fee
The rate for researchers and full-time employees is DK-kr. 1500.
For PhDs, students and unemployed academics the rate is DK-kr. 700
The conference fee includes all conference sessions from the 28th January 2008 to the 30th January 2008 (see more conference detail on the conference web-site), conference bag, buffet and a glass of champagne Wednesday night and coffees, teas, fruit and cake all three days. The fee does not include lunch Thursday and Friday, dinner Thursday or accommodation and breakfast.
For delegates only participating in the workshop Thursday morning
The delegates solely participating in the workshop Thursday the 29th from 9-13 and the lunch, the conference fee is DK-kr. 500. Read more about the theme workshop here.
Lunch
Lunch Thursday and Friday can be bought at the university canteen at RU; price between 40 and 60 DK-kr. including drink.
Conference dinner Thursday
The conference dinner Thursday evening has to be booked at the same time as the conference registration. The fee is DK-kr. 350 for researchers and full-time employees and DK-kr. 175 for PhDs, students and unemployed academics.
Conference delegates, who cannot afford the fee for the conference dinner Thursday, can apply for support to cover this expense with the conference organizing committee. If you intend to apply for support to cover the conference dinner, do not register for the dinner in the online registration form. Instead, send a mail to konference@nemm.dk immediately after having registered for the conference, explaining the grounds for needing support to cover the conference dinner fee. The applications will be evaluated individually by the conference organizing committee.
Free accomodation at Roskilde University
If you choose the free accommodation at RU, please remember to sign up for this in your online registration.
It is still possible to register for the conference. Participants from countries outside EU must make sure that they have a Visa before they register. Registration is binding.
