Regardless if you live at Scandic Hotel, Hotel Prindsen or Roskilde Vandrerhjem (hostel), there are two ways which are the easiest to get to and from the university:

You can go to Roskilde Station by taxi or on foot, take the train one stop to Trekroner Station and walk to the university. A oneway ticket, which you can buy at the station or in one of the slot machines at the stations, costs 21 DK-kr., or you kan buy a 10-journey card for 2 zones for 130 DK-kr. = 13 DK-kr. pr. stamp. Make sure to stamp your 10-journey card before you get on the train – the fine for not doing this is 600 DK-kr.

You can also take a taxi directly from the hotel or hostel to the university (approx. 100 DK-kr.)
