It is possible to go to Copenhagen Central Station or Kastrup Airport in two ways:

Either you can take the train from Trekroner Station to Nørreport Station (Copenhagen) and change to the metro for Kastrup Airport. Copenhagen Central Station is the stop before Nørreport Station.

Or you can take the train from Trekroner Station to Copenhagen Central Station and change to the train for Kastrup Airport.

On the website www.rejseplanen.dk (in English) you can easily plan your journey from the airport or Copenhagen to Trekroner Station.

Two examples of journeys on January 30th:

By metro:

Take the train 4054 from Trekroner st. towards Østerport st. to Nørreport st. at 17.19. Arrival Nørreport st. at 17.45.

Walk down the stairs from the train platform to the metro platform.

Take Metro M2 from Nørreport st. (Metro) towards Lufthavnen st. (Metro) to Lufthavnen st. (Metro) at 17.48. Arrival Lufthavnen st. (Metro) at 18.03. Total travel time approx. 44 minutes.

By train:

Take the train 2540 from Trekroner st. towards Østerport st. to København H. at 17.28. Arrival København H. at 17.54.

Change track at Copenhagen Central Station. Check the monitors to see from which track the train leaves.

Take the train ØR 1084 from København H. towards Malmö C. to Københavns Lufthavn, Kastrup st. at 18.03. Arrival Københavns Lufthavn, Kastrup st. at 18.15. Total travel time approx. 47 minutes.
