You can get to Roskilde in two ways:

Either you can take the train from Kastrup Airport to Copenhagen Central Station and change to the train to Trekroner Station.

Or you can take the metro from Kastrup Airport to Nørreport Station (Copenhagen) and change to the train for Trekroner Station.

On the website http://www.rejseplanen.dk/ (in English) you can easily plan your journey from the airport to Trekroner Station.

Two examples of journeys on January 28th:

By metro:

Take Metro MET M2 from Lufthavnen st. (Metro) towards Vanløse st. (Metro) to Nørreport st (Metro)at 11.47. Arrival Nørreport St. (Metro) at 12.01.

Walk from the metro platform up to the train platform. The train will depart form track 2 if nothing else is indicated on the monitors at the station.

Take the train RE 4141 from Nørreport st. towards Ringsted st. to Roskilde st. at 12.05. Arrival Roskilde st. at 12.38. Total travel time approx. 51 minutes.

By train:

Take the train ØR 1049 from the airport station Kastrup st. to København H. kl. 12:04. Ankomst København H. kl. 12.17.

Change track at Copenhagen Central Station. Check the monitors to see from which track the train leaves.

Take Inter City-train 845 from København H. towards Esbjerg st. to Roskilde st. at 12.30. Arrival Roskilde st. at 12.50. Total travel time approx. 46 minutes.

From Roskilde Station to Scandic Hotel

The easiest way to get from Roskilde Station to Scandic Hotel and back is to take a taxi from the station. The taxis are on the parking area opposite the main entrance of Roskilde Station.

Example of journey from Roskilde Station to Roskilde University

Take the train 2524 from Roskilde st. towards Østerport st. to Trekroner st. at 13.12. Arrival Trekroner st. at 13.15. Total travel time approx. 3 minutes.
